Normally, we subscribe to the belief, “sticks and stones can break our bones and words will never hurt us,” but misinformation
is a different story. And during a pandemic? The wrong words can be downright dangerous, if not deadly.
MediaSmarts, a media literacy social profit organization, set out to stop the spread of misinformation. They turned to us for help. After all, the only thing more dangerous than COVID misinformation was the virus itself. With timely insights, refreshing digital and broadcast creative, nimble production, and a roster of influential Canadians sharing and creating, we encouraged Canadians
to “Check First. Share After.”
While we may not have stopped store shelves from being stripped of toilet paper, we were able to reach millions of Canadians
and help millions of Canadians.
